The University of Saint Joseph offers a dual degree program leading to a Health Science, B.S. and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Students who qualify for this program are able to earn their bachelor’s degree at the University of Saint Joseph and then move to their DPT program at the University of Hartford.
Students complete their prerequisite courses for the DPT program while completing their Health Science degree at USJ and then apply to the University of Hartford DPT program where there are 6 admissions vacancies for qualified USJ students who are Biology, Health Science, or Exercise Science majors.
Students are required to complete all requirements in the general track of the Health Science, B.S. with the exception of INTD 135, POLS 125, and RELS 301.
