SPEC 546 - Seminar in Writing and Related Instructional Theory 3 Credits Advanced seminar for the University of Saint Joseph/Literacy Internship Program for working in instructional settings with students with remedial needs. Instructional models for teaching writing, writing assessment, and alternate approaches to reading and writing instruction are included. The relationship between regular education and supplemental instruction in implementing remedial programs is examined along with curriculum scope and sequence.
