NUTR 316 - Medical Nutrition Therapy I 4 Credits This course covers the evidence-based principles of nutrition in disease and focuses on the integration and interpretation of data for the nutritional care process including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention and monitoring and evaluation. Lectures provide an in-depth study of pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, medical management and nutrition care of disease states. Students also complete an independent study of medical terminology.
